The Department of Hindi of Kanchrapara College, which began its journey along with its general course in 1973 and affiliation to Honours course 1993 & P.G. course introduced in the academic Session 2002- 2003.It was one of the earliest Department of this institution running with day and evening shift. From the very beginning eminent scholars and illustrious professors enriched this Department as faculty members. Today it enjoys one of the largest student strengths. The Department regularly organizes tutorial and remedial classes, educational tours, Museum visits, Department seminars, students' seminars with active interaction of the pupil and faculty. At present, three full time faculty members along with four State- Aided College Teacher are serving and interacting with students through academic activities.
